数学与大数据学院邀请华南师范大学余虓老师作学术报告

       应佛山科学技术学院数学与大数据学院院长戎海武教授和副院长吴楚芬教授的邀请，华南师范大学数学科学学院余虓老师于7月4日下午3点，在佛山科学技术学院江湾校区致用楼524开展了关于“Asymptotic spreading of KPP reactive fronts in
heterogeneous shifting environments”的学术报告。吴楚芬教授主持学术会议，学院微分方程方向老师及研究生参会。整个学术报告精彩纷呈，理论与应用相结合，引起了师生热烈的反响。

       报告简介：In this talk, we will discuss the spreading properties
of KPP fronts in heterogeneous shifting environments, by further developing the method based on the theory of
viscosity solutions of Hamilton-Jacobi equations. Our framework addresses both
reaction-diffusion equations and integrodifferential equations with a
distributed time-delay. This is a joint work with Dr. Adrain Lam.

       余虓副研究员简介：2016年博士毕业于加拿大纽芬兰纪念大学, 先后在美国迈阿密大学、加拿大瑞尔森大学和约克大学从事博士后研究。主要从事扩散系统的传播动力学研究，相关成果在JMPA、JFA、JDE、DCDS、中国科学（英文）等杂志发表，主持国家自然科学基金青年项目.
